What the record says
GHK-Cu: the mechanism is documented, the human record is thin
In fibroblast culture the copper complex of the tripeptide stimulated collagen synthesis independently of any change in cell number.
FEBS Lett 1988;238:343–346 ↗The wound-healing data are animal: in 18 rabbits with full-thickness wounds, mean unhealed area was smaller under the tripeptide-copper complex than under zinc oxide at day 7.
Vet Dermatol 2006;17:417–423 ↗A 2026 Sports Medicine review lists GHK-Cu among the unapproved peptides it surveys and states that rigorous human safety data for that group are scarce.
Sports Med 2026;56:1921–1935 ↗
Compared with BPC-157 10 mg: BPC-157 is the nearest match by presentation — both are research vials sold for tissue work. The records differ in kind: this compound has fibroblast and animal data with thin human data, BPC-157 has 35 animal studies and one 12-patient series.
